First of all, I would like to personally thank each and everyone one of you who attended the Vigil for Viole that was held recently. Even those who could not make it, we still appreciate your heartfelt condolences, and the continued support that you give Esca & Pika during these difficult times. While the period of mourning continues for those closest to Viole, I’m sure our actions will help their grieving process. I want to thank Lynx, for organizing a small donation for Esca’s family, of whom received a gift card, a bouquet of flowers, and a message from the FC, directly to their front door.
Jyu Viole, known to his siblings as “Tronco”, grew up playing a variety of video games alongside Esca, Tiera & Pika. From various Final Fantasy games, to LAN’ing Halo, Starcraft and Diablo 2, to WoW, FFXIV and LoL… he was like many of us, a gamer at heart. As a founding member GNovA, many of us would not have met, had it not been for Viole’s actions (introducing Esca to Legato). Viole became an integral part of Esca’s raid group throughout first and second Coil, as an incredibly skilled black mage who would get slapped if he was late for raid.
Here’s a message from Esca, during the vigil:
Thanks to all of you for being a part of this. I am sure Jyu is really happy how many people think of him. Thanks for spending your time on us, and keeping him in your mind and heart. There is no way we are capable of repaying your feelings… So all I can really say, is Thank You. As long as we remember Jyu, he will forever be with us.
And a message from Pika during the vigil:
Hello everyone, thanks to all of you for being here. Jyu lived by so many names, he really something else, “Rey”, “Regio”, but we all loved to call him “Tronco”. We always loved to mess around, going over to my grandma’s house and seeing them (Tie, Jyu, Esca) was really something else. They got me into video games, to see them having fun like that, was amazing.. and sadly, he wont be with us anymore… but if he remains within us, then he shall be there with us. Tronquito te quiro.
